Vera Bozickovic

Vera is a self-taught musician with an academic background in Generative Linguistics from Concordia University. Her inspiration and work explores speech tone, timbre and even industrial noise! She has played in bands of various genres including grunge, rock, indie, metal, rap, jazz, funk and blues. She also has extensive experience teaching children of all ages. (See teaching experience below). Her love for music never slipped her mind just like the joy of teaching and educating children. Why not combine both?

Although her main instrument is bass, she also teaches guitar (electric/acoustic), drums and trumpet. However, this list is not limited, she can also teach every instrument… from trumpet to various children’s instruments, except for classical piano (✿◠‿◠)╯ ︵ ┻━┻ Her main focus is to continue to reach out to the community and share her experiences, knowledge and inspire the younger generation to live creatively.

Marwan (Juno) Farhoud

Juno’s music career started in 1994, in Beirut Lebanon. Whilst Alternative-Culture wasn’t fully accepted in a country finding itself after close to 20 years of civil war, he managed to organize a few shows. Moving back to Montreal in 1998 offered a lot more possibilities, like sharing the stage with Wolf Parade and Arcade Fire. He briefly studied Electro Acoustics at Concordia University. By 2005, he managed and fully operated a large scale studio in the heart of Montreal. He produced influential bands before he left to pursue various eclectic projects.

He is confident in teaching many things: -punk-metal-rock guitar, how to use drum machines, synthesizers ("standard" or modular) recording, mixing, and producing. When Vera offered to help her with a holistically-oriented school, there was no way he could say no. It was the answer to all his musical inquires: teaching and spreading his love for music!
